Cusco and Machu Picchu Package Tour (5 Days)

We will be picking you up from Cusco Airport and will transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, at 0210 PM, our representative will meet pick you up from the hotel to start your Cusco city tour.

Cusco City Tour is a half day tour. This would give you an introduction to the life and culture of our life in the Andes with some history. We will start the tour with a visit to Qorikancha. Qorikancha was once the largest and the most sacred temple of Incas. This was demolished by the Spanish conquistadors who built Santo Domingo church on its remains.
We will the drive you to see the four archealogical sites on the outskirts of Cusco. Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay.

We will be picking you up from your hotel in Cusco at 0700 AM for a complete day tour of Sacred Valley of Incas and Maras Moray.
Our first stop will be in Chinchero that still maintains its traditional art, textile and ceramics where we will visit its colonial church that highlights its most important canvases of the fifteenth, seventeenth century.
We will then visit the farming terrace of Moray. Moray as an agricultural research center where cultivation experiments were carried out at different heights.
Then we will visit Maras. Maras is home to more than 3 thousand pools, of different sizes and dimensions, the same that belong to the local families, which in time of dry they take advantage of the salt that is generated to treat it with iodine and sell them in the market.
We will stop for a buffet lunch in Urubamba.
Our next stop will be in Ollantaytambo where you will be visiting the archaeological complex.
We will then visit Pisac. Pisac is known for its traditional market and archaeological ruins. Our local guide will be giving you a guided tour of these sites.
After the tour, we will be returning to Cusco and you will be dropped off at around 0630 in the evening.

1 night hotel in Cusco

We will be picking you up from your hotel in Cusco between 0340 and 0400 in the morning and will e transferring you to Ollantaytambo train station. Here you will be boarding the train to Aguas Calientes town. Our representative will meet you at the train station upon your arrival and will be transferring you to Machu Picchu by bus.

Once in Machu Picchu, our local guide will give you a complete two hours guided tour of the citadel. On this tour you will be visiting Guardian’s house, Temple of the sun, 3 windows, Intihuatana, Aclla huasi, Temple of the condor and water sources. After the tour you will have some time to walk around the citadel.

At a designated time, you will be taking the bus back to Aguas Calientes town. Here we will be serving you lunch. Lunch includes, entrée, main course and a dessert.

After lunch, you will be taking the train back to Ollantaytambo where our representative will be meeting you. We will then be transferring you back to your hotel in Cusco.

At 0430 in the morning we will be picking you up from your hotel in Cusco. We will then drive for around two hours to Pitumarca. At Pitu,arca, we will stop for breakfast. We will continue our journey through beautiful valleys, small canyons and impressive pre-Inca terraces until we reach the community of Chilliuani.
Our Rainbow Mountain Trek will begin with a sight of the sacred peak, “Apu” Ausangate. After a quick briefing, we will start the hike up t the summit of the Rainbow Mountain. The hike will be around an hour and 20 minutes through scenic route. On the way you will be rewarded with sights of Andean camelids, Alpacas and Llamas. You will also get to see some rare species of birds, lagoons, valleys, streams and snowfalls.
Once on the summit of the Rainbow Mountain, you can have some free time and walk around the site. We will then begin our descend to Cusipata. Here we will be stopping for breakfast.
Later, we will be returning to Cusco.

This day after enjoying our buffet breakfast we will pick you up from the hotel at the agreed time to take you to the Cusco airport. Remember to be 2 hours before your departure END OF THE PROGRAM.
